Juror’s Statement:  This diverse Exhibition impressively displays the various abilities of those within the Ann Arbor Women Artists organization.  There is an underlying theme of awareness and enjoyment of the everyday.  Subject matter that could be considered mundane or common has been transformed into art through vital self expression and meticulous attention to detail.  I commend these artists for being active participants in, and contributors to, the creative community.  They have taken the initiative to experience and comment on our culture and existence.
