Discovering truth by building on previous discoveries.”  -Sir Isaac Newton

By learning about what has been done in the past, the Youth Empowerment Program aims to expose young people to possibilities for their futures. Through lecture, discussion, and studio artwork, students will explore cave art to contemporary art using an “Enduring Themes” approach, emphasizing pervasive aspects of the human condition across time and place. Their studio art projects will nurture technical skills, sharpen creative thinking and propose solutions to real-world issues within their immediate neighborhoods. Student projects will be exhibited in our galleries, local community venues and installed in public spaces.

The after-school program is expected to begin in January 2018. Please check back for additional details in coming months. If you have questions, please fill out the form on the Contact Us page.
