Keri Middaugh

Keri Middaugh is the author of “My Detroit Garden.”  It was illustrated by Loretta Bradfield.  The storyline is about a little girl who misses her garden when she moves to the city of Detroit.  We are given a look at the joys of urban gardening in this sweet story.

Keri lives with two children and her husband in Ann Arbor. She loves writing, gardening and helping people “go green.”  She maintains a personal blog called My Kitchen, My Vice where she covers topics about everything from keeping chickens, owning rabbits to potato peel pie.

She also works with the South Arbor Charter Academy where teachers, students and staff are making the green journey. You can follow their efforts on the South Arbor Goes Green.
