Ukuleles make people smile.  They are such cute little instruments.  And since we are having a Ukulele night in the gallery with the Ann Arbor Ypsilanti Uke Club, I thought it would be a great idea to take a look at what some folks have been able to do with these small musical wonders.

First, here’s a video of a young soul who is learning the ways of the musical world via his Uke. What a fantastic way to introduce instruments to children.

Next, here’s some guys you may recognize enjoying a little relaxed sing together in the park. There is something about the Uke that makes you sit back, get comfortable and enjoy the company.

Finally, here’s a video of Jake Shimaukure who is a very serious Uke player. He’s on a mission to revolutionize our perception of the four-string, two-octave instrument. You’ll be amazed with his version of “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Enjoy.

Come along…. Join us on Feb 18th at 7:30 pm in the Gallery. The Ukuleles will be playing and there will be some singing. See you there!
