Become A Teaching Artist

Riverside Arts Center’s Workshops and Classes Program provides engaging and high-quality arts instruction for our creative community. Our workshops and classes are designed to be accessible to a wide range of experience levels — from beginners to professional artists looking to expand their skill set.

This program is ever-growing, and we are always accepting proposals from teaching artists for new classes. Be sure to check out our Workshops and Classes page to see what we’re currently offering and gauge if your class would be a great addition to our lineup!

Details:

If you are interested in teaching at Riverside Arts Center as part of our Workshops and Classes program, please fill out the form below. The form is designed to gather important information about you and your proposed workshop or class. It helps us evaluate your qualifications, the content of your proposal, and how it aligns with our mission. Please ensure all required fields are completed and attach any necessary supporting documents.

Applications are evaluated quarterly by our staff and RAC’s Program Committee. You will be notified within two weeks of submission whether or not your proposal is being considered. Further details about the timeline of the workshop or class will be addressed at that time.

Please note that all teaching artists are hired independent contractors and are not considered employees of Riverside Arts Center.

If you would like to use our facilities to teach classes or private lessons independently from our workshops and classes program, check out Rentals @ Riverside! We have a variety of spaces that can accommodate a wide range of arts instruction.
