Deconstruction: The work of Daniel Cicchelli, Calvin Waterman, Michael Thoresen, and Caeleigh Girad
About the show
Creative minds are born with the desire to create, but forged with the greater desire to reprocess. There’s something intimate in breaking down structures meant for other purposes, only to recreate with a deeper and more magnetic draw.
The Deconstruction Exhibition features four Southwest Michigan mixed-media artists who explore the manipulation of textures, depth, and everyday objects. These ideas are repurposed into new complete works, allowing them to breathe new air. These artists combine their chaotic resolve to breakdown and rebuild an amalgamation of photography, drawing, painting, and found object art
