An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until November 7, 2023
Whatabout Theatre is launching Classes! Dip your toes into the improv comedy waters in a safe, inclusive environment. If you’ve ever considered learning improvisation, this is the place to start. In this eight (8) week class, you’ll gain familiarity with improv concepts, grow your skills, build relationships with your classmates, and perform live on stage!
The instructor for this class is Corene Ford (she/her/hers). Corene has been improvising for just over a decade and loves both performing and teaching. She has taught at Pointless School of Improv, been a member of several house teams at Go! Comedy and Pointless Brewery & Theatre, and coached multiple launch groups. She serves as Secretary of the Whatabout Theatre Board of Directors and on the Board of Directors for the Detroit Improv Collective. This class is open to adults ages 18 or older. Registration is only $225 (plus fees), so claim your spot now at whatabouttheatre.org.
Classes occur on Tuesdays and run from 9/19-11/7 7-10pm
