Jogakbo: Traditional Korean Patchwork

Jogakbo is a Korean method of piecing fabrics. Born out of scarcity and using every scrap, Jogakbo has developed into its own artform. This class will introduce the stitch method that creates a reversible fabric with its characteristic windowpane effect. Using indigo-dyed cotton, you will create a bojagi or wrapping cloth in the traditional Korean style.
