Monotype Printmaking Workshop

In this three-hour workshop, you will learn Monotype printmaking methods, as well as collage and paper cutting strategies. You will be introduced to unusual ways of building imagery with ink and paper. Perfect for any skill level, this class encourages experimentation and allows for whatever level of guidance is right for you. You will come away with a new printmaking skill set and a 11×17” unique art piece. You may bring reference photos/images to work from, if desired.

Bio:

Katherine Bullock is an artist and teacher. Born and raised in Michigan, Katherine traveled to Baltimore, MD where she received her BFA in Painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Katherine has worked in many fields, including graphic arts, illustration, pattern making, and leatherworking. Katherine exhibits her artwork locally and nationally, and she is currently pursuing her MFA in Printmaking at Eastern Michigan university. She lives in Ypsilanti with her cat Scrunchie.
