The Board of the Ypsilanti Downtown Development Authority (YDDA) and Riverside Arts Center (RAC) have voted unanimously to approve the sale of the building at 76 N. Huron Street to RAC. We have been leasing the space for the past 30 years and the purchase of our building allows us to develop the third floor, which is currently underutilized. While we have hit capacity levels with many of our service areas, the community need is exciting, vast and growing! Known as a safe and accepting space for artists of all kinds, we have wait lists for every room in the building. Our new Executive Director, Elisa Guyton is excited to expand and grow a more inclusive and accessible facility for everyone.
