If you hadn’t heard TEDxYDL, an independently-organized program licensed through TED and organized by the Ypsilanti District Library, made some big waves at at Riverside Arts Center last week! 100 audience members attended the TEDx in person and about 300 more who livestreamed the event. Speakers addressed the topic of “Mobility” with talks about the movement of dance through history of human civilization, child-birth rights for prisoners and automotive AI. Through the evening we were dazzled by the offerings of our community and invigorated by the great minds surrounding us.

Please check out Concentrate’s fantastic article about the evening and Doug Coombe’s photos. It was certainly an evening to remember. We cannot wait to see what our friends at YDL come up with next!
